The CarGurus Product teams have been hard at work, continuing to build new features and product enhancements that give our dealer partners more of what they need to succeed. Here are the key CarGurus product improvements you can expect now, and in the weeks to come.
We launched a new Listings add-on product, Highlight, to help drive more shoppers to specific vehicles by featuring certain inventory in sponsored slots both beyond the first page and further down the SRP.
You can choose from four inventory-category-specific “Highlight Strategies” in your Dealer Dashboard:
- Aged Inventory. Promote listings with the longest time on site.
- Certified Pre-Owned Inventory. Promote vehicles with proven value.
- Newest Model Year Inventory. Promote your most recently produced used car inventory.
- Qualified Inventory. Promote your great, good, and fair deals.
For the first time, Highlight allows you to create a promotion strategy on CarGurus based on inventory type and offers the following advantages:
- Strategically promote inventory. Get more control over the vehicles that you promote and give your selection an extra boost in visibility.
- Reach the most committed shoppers. The lowest funnel shoppers click through several SRPs to look for the right deal.
- Boost your exposure beyond the first page. Exclusive sponsored slots start at the top of the second SRP and every ten listings on mobile.
