
2018 was a banner year for us here at CarGurus: we officially became the fastest growing auto shopping site in the country,1 our Gurus held and attended dealer events across the country, and we launched lots of new content to help you sell more cars!
We took a moment to reflect on everything we did in 2018, and here are some of the highlights.
CarGurus hit new milestones
Not only did we become the fastest growing auto shopping site in Canada,1 the consumers who visited our site were also more engaged than ever—total minutes on ca.cargurus.com increased 58% since 2017.2 We also continued to grow our network of inventory providers, and we now work with over 60 of them in an effort to make it easy for dealerships like yours to advertise on CarGurus.
We held and attended events all over the country
From Guru Reviews and the Montreal Grand Prix to the Auto Remarketing Canada Conference, AMVOQ Congress, and more, we travelled all over to reach our dealers—and we can’t wait to do it all again in 2019.

Product updates and releases
You asked for new features and product updates—and we answered! In 2018, we updated the Pricing Tool to make it easy to see exactly what it would take to make a vehicle a Great, Good, or Fair Deal. We also added the Featured Priority listings package, which lets dealers promote their listings in CarGurus’ most premium location at the top of the search result page. Other updates and releases included the addition of detailed lead info on the Removed Listings Activity tab and feed splitting.
